2020 Honda CR-V vs. 2020 Toyota RAV4

Family transportation has changed significantly over the years. For decades the minivan reigned supreme, but now it’s the SUV. While three-row crossover SUVs are an appealing option for family transportation, a full-size SUV isn’t the right choice for everyone. If you have your eye instead on a small crossover SUV, then the 2020 Honda CR-V might be on your list.

The 2020 Honda CR-V boasts a rewarding driving experience, a spacious cabin with easy-folding seats, ample cargo room and a generous selection of standard entertainment and convenience features. To best showcase all the 2020 Honda CR-V is capable of, we have put it head-to-head with the 2020 Toyota RAV4.

Honda’s new 2020 CR-V also receives a long list of updates for the model year, including more standard advanced safety technologies and refined exterior styling. Honda has also made the 184-hp, 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine with the turbocharged 1.5-liter engine, which was previously optional. This turbocharged engine and the crossover SUV’s fine-tuned suspension and handling give the 2020 Honda CR-V nimble handling and performance.

The Toyota RAV4 has been on the market for some time and has stood out thanks to its quiet, large cabin with plenty of cargo and passenger space. The RAV4 receives a complete redesign for 2020 and debuts with a new TRD Off-Road trim and Android Auto smartphone integration. While the 2020 Toyota RAV4 has many strengths, it struggles to compete with all the 2020 Honda CR-V has to offer.

We invite you to see the new 2020 Honda CR-V for yourself with a visit to our beautiful showroom in Charlottetown, PE today. From all of us at Capital Honda, we hope to see you soon!
